Nacheal Catnott 
  • I am a British artist of Caribbean decent based in London,  my work addresses race migration and cross cultural diversity in the UK.
  • I combine traditional methods of practice with performative and poetic imagery.
  • My yam sculptures have taken yam a staple food associated with the Afr0- Caribbean community and experimented with appropriating it through various channels, namely sculpture and performance
  • I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in  Art and Philosophy  from the University of Reading.
  • I am currently studying a masters in screen documentary film at Goldsmiths University of London.
  • I am a member of  South London Galleries ReCreative editorial board- We are an online platform aimed at providing opportunities for young aspiring artists.
